Hello everyone... Today's morning is starting with the same cool breeze as always. I really love this kind of weather. As a housewife, I don't usually have stories that are exciting or different from the usual. So, most of the stories I tell each day might be the same. But they might be different in terms of food or special things like going out to play. So, let's get to the story...
I wake up at 6:00 a.m. every morning to prepare everything for the kids and send them to school. After that, I do my usual housework and take a short break by scrolling through various apps on my phone to relax and kill time. Sometimes, I'll even go online and send some stuff, haha. The kids eat breakfast before heading to school, which is very close to home, just five minutes away. So, it's no wonder I wake up at 6:00 a.m. and the kids are never late for school.
My orchids have started blooming beautifully again recently. Even though the space isn't very large, I can comfortably plant flowers for you to enjoy. Seeing beautiful flowers in the morning like this is truly wonderful. It helps us relax and improve our mental state. I truly believe so.
I also have some of my handicrafts that help alleviate loneliness during school hours. Today, I started making small baskets to hold knickknacks in front of my desk. I'm also thinking of making baskets to hold small crochet dolls and packing them for sale online. I have a lot of ideas and imagination, but sometimes my eyesight isn't the best for making them... Hehe.
By 5:00 PM, it was time to make dinner... The first dish would be stir-fried beans in tomato sauce with minced pork and eggs, a favorite of my husband and youngest daughter. It was a bit sour and sweet, and the beans used in the stir-fry were quite tasty.
There's also an okra menu. In the past, I was someone who really disliked eating okra because its slippery latex made me want to vomit whenever I ate it. But now I really like it because once we know the steps to reduce the slime, eating okra is both delicious and healthy. I wash the okra, dry it, cut off the ends, drain the water, and then steam it until it's cooked through. I start by stir-frying garlic and pork in a pan, then add a little water, sugar, salt, and oyster sauce. Taste and adjust the amount as you like. Then pour it over the steamed okra and you've got yourself a delicious dish.
This final dish is a clear soup. Simply stir-fry minced pork in a pan until hot and cooked through, along with garlic. Then add water. When it boils, add lettuce and carrots. If you're craving eggs, scramble them and add them later to create a clear soup with tofu and minced pork.
And that's my story for today, sharing it with you all. I hope you all enjoy it.
Thank you for following and your continued support. See you in the next article. For today, I have to say goodbye. Bye-bye, everyone.
