Yeah I wouldn't have dared I think :-D that looks deep! But awesome video. What was that video taken on? 1950 wasn't exactly the age of hand cameras.
I'm probably lucky I was even born. ;)
An old 8mm of some kind. My dad was really into photography and movies. He lugged all that equipment all over the mountain trying to get the "best shots". He said it made him too tired to make the summit. lol
That is some interesting motivation. But apparently the right one. Quite the character I guess, maybe somewhat determined? But worth it. Quite a legacy.
