I Gave The best gift To My Niece.

Do you all know the best gift?
Several times we've place the highest values on money and forget to build healthy relationships with our fellow humans on earth. It's undisputable that money is very vital and essential in our world but then we are supposed to balance money with relationship and friendships because there are things money may not buy and that's healthy relationships.
Whatever relationship that is built solely on the foundation of money gets destroyed when money isn't longer available to hold the relationship as it used to, so over the years I learnt to build healthy relationship with people and one of those ways I do that is by giving time and attention to them.
This December, I could literally send Christmas presents to my niece but I decided to do something a little bit different which is taking them on outing. I wasn't having much because school has drained the hell out of me before coming home but I could still do something no matter how little.
I just wanted to spent a little time with the little girl because I know she likes to see me whenever I come home for holidays. Despite the fact the little girl (my niece) would want me around, I couldn't spent enough time with her, I sometimes end up buying her biscuits to cover up for the time I was supposed to spend with her. The innocent girl will miss my presence and even forget about everything until I come back home again to remind her of presence she has been craving for.
This holiday I thought of how to make it up to her and how to make her happier not by just buying presents for her but by giving her a valuable and unforgettable gift of my presence. I got her mother to dress the little girl up and we left for a little outing. I didn't do much but I could sense the excitement from the little girls face, it look like she will never have enough of it but then we all need to come home and rest that day.
I am not used at going out with children and that gave me a tough time deciding what she eats. I was been careful of what I she eats because I love a good and healthy eating lifestyle. I don't like her taking too much sugary products and that made me go for the choice of food I made. I bought a little plate of rice and salads for her with fish and also bought yoghurt for takeaway.

I saw real joy and happiness in baby Victoria's face and I have planned to do this on a routine, I'm going to make her feel special because she deserves to be treated like that, we shouldn't pay back love with money instead we can reciprocate love with love and attention. The best gift you can give to your family is your attention and not just money, money is essential but we should all try to find time and spend sometime with our families, it helps reunite the bound and affection between each other. I've learnt to share my time and attention with people that matters to me and I hope to keep it up like that..
