Cassava Cheesy Balls

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of cassava
  • mozzarella cheese
  • 5 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • truffle seasoning

Steps:

  • Peel the cassava and wash thoroughly

  • Cut into small pieces, add a pinch of salt, and boil the cassava until tender for about 20 minutes

  • Mash the cassava until soft

  • Add salt, pepper, and cornstarch

  • Knead until well combined

  • Shape into balls and fill with mozzarella cheese pieces

  • Close the dough

  • Fry in hot oil over medium-low heat

  • Cook until golden brown

  • Remove and drain

  • Serve on a plate and sprinkle with truffle seasoning

  • Cassava cheese balls are ready to eat
