Hi bloggers. What do you want to eat today? I ate my favorite foods all day. After a leisurely morning walk on last weekend, my stomach is starting to feel hungry. The first place that comes to mind is Harmoni Soya & Coffee for a light breakfast.
This place is quite popular for breakfast. I ordered Egg Mayo Toast and Lemon Honey Tea, even though I really wanted soy milk, but it was all sold out.
My friend ordered Toasted Bread and Grilled Chicken Bread, along with Kopi Susu Gula Aren or Palm Sugar Milk Coffee. The Egg Mayo Bread arrived quickly—it’s bread filled with egg and mayonnaise, a simple breakfast on the go.
My friend's menus were toasted bread with margarine and sugar sprinkles with a glass of palm sugar milk coffee, and grilled chicken bread with grilled chicken and sunny eggs inside, served with chili sauce as a dip.
This breakfast menu was quite filling. The place isn't very big and is usually crowded in the morning as a kopitiam-style breakfast spot.
In the afternoon, I had plans to meet my old friend in college and We ate at a Chinese restaurant called Haikou Dimsum, which offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes that are undoubtedly delicious.
As an appetizer, I ordered Pau Pasir Emas, a steamed bun filled with creamy and savory salted egg yolk sauce—one bite and it melts in your mouth—and a few dim sum dishes that I didn’t get a chance to photograph because it was quite hectic with this cutie little one.
The main course was Mie Haikou Ayam Pangsit Haikou chinese noodles and Mozarella Katsu Rice.
Of course, I didn't eat this alone, it was our shared menu (me and my friends). My favorite was the Mozarella katsu rice, which was fried rice topped with katsu chicken and mozarella cheese that was chewy and satisfying when pulled apart. Chinese food is indeed delicious.
For drinks, I ordered mineral water and fresh pineapple pok choy juice.
The place is very comfortable and spacious, making it ideal for family. Delicious food brings happiness.
