Hi bloggers and food lovers.. how are you? Do you like japanese food? Today I want to share one of my favorite japanese food, okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki is a Japanese dish that’s easy to make because you can choose whatever fillings and ingredients you like. Mix in vegetables or protein—whatever you prefer. The base typically uses flour dissolved in water, but this time I’m using instant oatmeal. Alright, let’s get started
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp instant oats
- 1/2 head of baby cabbage
- 1 stalk of green onion
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- cheese
- okonomiyaki sauce
- mayonnaise
- aonori
- katsuobushi/dried bonito flakes
Steps:

- Prepare the baby cabbage and green onion; chop them into small pieces and set aside

- Add the instant oat to a bowl

- Crack the eggs and add them to the bowl

- Add salt and pepper

- Stir until well combined

- Add the chopped cabbage and green onions

- Mix them well

- Add grated cheese to the bowl

- Stir again until incorporated into the batter

Heat a pan and pour the batter into the pan
Cook over low heat

- Flip the okonomiyaki until cooked through

- Place on a plate

- Add okonomiyaki sauce on top

- Add mayonnaise

- Add aonori

- Sprinkle katsuobushi on top as a finishing touch

- The oat okonomiyaki is ready to eat
