Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you? Enjoy your weekend. Today I'm going to share a delicious snack recipe that's perfect for the weekend. It's quick to make and doesn't need many ingredients, so let's get started.
Ingredients:
- 300 grams of potatoes
- 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
- Mozzarella cheese
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 50 ml water
- toasted sesame seeds
- vegetable oil
Steps:

- Peel the potatoes and wash them under running water

- Steam the potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes

Let them cool, then mash them. This is the key—I mash them using a sieve to achieve a smoother texture
The texture should be like this because if it’s not smooth, the result will be sticky when fried

- Add cornstarch and a pinch of salt

- Mix until mixed and the consistency is like this

- Take the dough, shape it into a ball, then make a hole in the middle and put a piece of mozzarella cheese inside

Close and shape it into a square like this. Make it thick so the cheese doesn't easily break out
Do the same until the dough is finished
Heat oil in a pan

- Pan-fry until the dough is cooked and golden brown

- Remove and drain

Clean the pan, then add sugar, water, and soy sauce
Stir until everything is mixed

- Dip the potato mochi into it until coated

- Remove and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds

- The potato mochi is ready to serve
