Hi bloggers and food lovers. Do you know tteokboki? Yes, it's a Korean food that often appears in Korean dramas, usually made from rice flour cooked with gochujang sauce that is spicy, slightly sour, and fresh. This time, I'm going to make tteokboki from rice paper, which is a little more simple and quicker to make. Out of my expectations, it's so good, spicy, savory, and chewy. Okay, let's get started.
Ingredients:
- 6 sheets of rice paper
- water
- mozzarella cheese (optional)
- 1 tbsp gochujang paste
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp chili sauce
- 250 ml water
- sesame seeds
- spring onions
- chili flakes (optional)
Steps:

- Take the rice paper and dip it in water

- Roll the rice paper

For mozarella version, add mozzarella cheese slices on top, then roll it up lengthwise like this
Do the same for the next rice paper

- Set aside

- Prepare the gochujang paste, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and salt

- Add water and stir until well blended

- Pour the gochujang sauce mixture into a pan

- Add chopped green onions and chili flakes

- Once boiling, add the small pieces of tteokboki to the pan. You can cut it into small pieces

- Wait until the water has reduced and thickened

- Add sesame seeds to the pan

- Once cooked, turn off the heat and serve

- The tteokboki rice paper is ready to eat
