Hi everyone in #foodiesBeeHive and welcome to my blog, am so excited to be participating in this week's high top chef competition and it's actually my first time!!
Since I have most of the ingredients at home,I decided to go to a nearby mallam store to get the vegetables for the fried rice

Recipe
Rice (raw) 1.5kg
Sweet Corn 300–400 g
Green Beans. 250–350 g
Carrots 400–500 g
Green Capsicum. 250–350 g
Green Peas 300–400 g
Roasted chicken 1kilo
Knor cubes 3
Salt. 2 table spoon
Pepper 2 table spoon
Powdered Curry. 2 table spoon
Cooking butter. 3g
Onions. 2 balls
Vegetable oil

COOKING METHOD
Cooking the Rice
Wash and Rinse the rice until water runs clear.
Boil water in a pot then add salt, pepper, powdered curry, knor cube, chopped onions and butter then add the already washed rice and cook rice untill it's done — not too soft.
Then set it aside



Prepare the Vegetables
I scraped the carrots and chopped also chopped the remaining vegetables


Heat small oil in a frying pan add small salt, onions and all the chopped vegetables in small quantities and fry for like 2-3mins

Combine with Rice
Add the cooked rice into the frying pan in batches with the already fried veggies and Mix gently so the grains don’t break. Keep frying for 3–4minutes on medium heat.


And because the chicken is already roasted, to make it more tasty, I added grinded fresh pepper, small vegetable oil, small salt and steamed it and it came out good

And there we have it, our fried rice is ready
