Todays article is basically going to be on how to prepare peppered snail:
Benefits of snail to the body
- Snail is really rich in protein and protein is good for your body
- Itās low in fat
- Snail is very high in vitamins and minerals
- It consist of iron source
- It contains collagen content
- It also consist of omega-3 fatty acids
- And lastly; Itās low in calories.
Recipe needed to prepare peppered snail
- snail : 150g (as much as you want)
- Scotch bonnet Pepper : 50g (roughly blended)
- Onion : 1 medium bulb
- Cooking oil : 1 cup (to fry the snail and for the sauce)
- Salt : 1 tsp
- Seasoning cube : 1
- Ginger and garlic paste: 1/2 tsp
- Curry : 1tsp
- Thyme : 1tsp
- Any spice and herbs of choice : 1/4 tsp each
Method of cooking
- Wash the snail thoroughly till itās completely clean and no longer slippery then set aside.
- Season it with salt and fry till itās rear done.
- In another sauce pan, add cooking oil of about 1/2 cup
- SautƩ half of the onion in the oil
- Add ginger and garlic
- Add the roughly blended scotch bonnet pepper, allow to fry for few minutes
- Add salt and seasoning
- Add all spice and herbs of choice allow to cook for 1 minute
- Pour in the snail and stir till itās coated and combined with the sauce on low heat
- Allow to steam for few more minutes
- Garnish with the rest of the onions and any vegetable of choice
- Put off heat and enjoy
You can enjoy this sauce with pasta or rice, it is really delicious and mouth watering. Suitable for grown ups and kids.

{Nut cake}
Hi, compliments of the season guys, itās been a long while here guys, Iām so sorry for the long pause reason is because I resumed school and had to settle well, everything was scattered and stressful and I barely had time to write.
But Iām here nowā¦ welcome back to my blog page
So, from now on I have decided that Iām going to be dropping only recipes and detailed methods of cooking a particular dish up here starting from this moment
Iām going to be teaching you how to bake a simple and easy nut cake and the best and fastest way possible.
Recipe needed for nut cake
- flour: 3 cups
- Sugar: 2 & 1/2 cup
- Baking powder : 1tsp
- Egg: 4 large
- Cooking Oil : 1cup
- Flavour (of any choice)1tbsp
- Different types of nuts in my case I used almond nut, cashew nut and; groundnut: as much as you like it
- Milk: 1 cup
Methods
- In a bowl mix all wet ingredients very well (cooking oil, milk, egg yolk,flavour)
- Add sugar to the wet ingredients and mix until combined
- Whisk the egg white in another bowl with 2tbsp of sugar until it reaches a stiff peak
- Mix the dry ingredients in another bowl (flour, baking powder)
- Crush the nuts into small chunks
- Create a whole between the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients
- Mix till itās combined then gently fold in your whisked egg white till itās completely combined
- Coat your baking pan with a little butter or cooking oil
- Pour in your cake batter
- Bake in the oven for 45mins with 180 degrees temperature.
