📕TODAY'S TEXT:
No one is greater in this house than I am.
My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife.
How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God? Genesis 39:9.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12).

Your understanding of what is right and wrong must be determined by God alone; for there are certain things that may seem right before men but evil before God.
🖊️MAIN DISCOURSE:
You must live your life carefully, because there are many things that man may approve of which God will disapprove.
The yardstick for measuring the quality of your character should not be influenced by man's assessment, but by God.
Our text for today tells us about Joseph's encounter with Potipher's wife, who tried to convince Joseph to commit an immoral act with her.
She probably told Joseph that it was just about 'having fun' with him and that there was nothing wrong with it as both of them were adults who were free to do what they wished with their lives. But Joseph declined the offer, telling her that he couldn't dare commit such wickedness and sin against God.
The people of this world will tell you nothing is wrong with doing certain things. But make sure to check with God in order to determine whether there is something wrong with those things before making a decision.
They will say that men are free to go after as many women as they deem fit. They will argue that men are naturally polygamous.
Hear me now: any truth that is not true everywhere is not true as far as God is concerned.
God's truth is universal.
Always consult with the mind of God before you do anything you might be under pressure to do.
Seek to please God and not man.
