Hello everyone! Hi to all hiver's, family and friend’s here. Good day to all of you specially to food lover’s who love to cook like me and to all who love to eat. Today is the first day that we have good weather. The past few days it has been raining and it is so difficult to go out and go to the market for marketing. Even though it is raining sometimes I don't have a choice but to go out to the market. Thankfully today we have a good weather and when I drive to send my daughter to school I remember both of my daughters asked me last night about one of their Favorite dish which is Pork Sinigang. I remember we don't have pork in our refrigerator anymore so I decided to proceed to the market after I would send my eldest daughter to her school then buy the ingredients.
SINIGANG:
Sinigang is a beloved Sour Soup, originated in the Philippines and is staple in Filipino cuisine, with its roots dating back to pre-colonial times. It is a versatile soup that can be made with various meats(pork, beef, chicken), seafood(fish, shrimp),and vegetables. Sinigang is also a comfort food for many filipinos. Tamarind(Sampaloc, guavas, unripe mangoes, kamias or lemon can be used to sour the soup. For me it is more convenient to use the ready to mix sinigang mix in the market. My Sinigang today is pork Sinigang because this is my teenager’s request.

Pork sinigang is best eaten with Rice or corn grits.
My daughters are happy that I cook Pork Sinigang for lunch. It has been a while since I cooked this dish and it is so heartwarming seeing them enjoy eating the food. As a mom, I would always love to cook for my daughters, especially foods that they like to eat. For me my responsibility as a mom includes my ability to cook food for my daughters. There is that feeling of joy from within when I see them eat well the food I cooked for them. One of the many ways to show them my unconditional love is by cooking.
