
Hi my culinary friends, Today I will make a recipe that I have been eating a lot lately, namely chicken, which I usually fry and grill, but this time I want to try steamed chicken, steamed chicken that I add with spring onions is very delicious. I used to eat steamed chicken when my grandmother was still alive because in the past, chicken was often cooked like this, often steamed or grilled. It was rare for people in the past to fry chicken with hot oil, in fact, what I often saw was that my grandmother used to grill chicken on very hot coals.

This steamed chicken is very high in protein without adding oil And of course steamed chicken is much healthier than fried chicken. So, for those of you who like steamed chicken rather than fried chicken, please see my recipe below.
And it's true that some people don't like steamed chicken, saying it smells fishy and so on. But I think this steamed chicken is delicious if marinated in the spices before cooking. And don't forget to marinate it with salt and lime juice first.

For the chicken itself, I only used chicken breast fillet because I happened to have some at home. If you want to use chicken thighs, wings or other parts, that is also highly recommended, but if you want to eat more protein, you can use chicken breast.

First of all, I took my salt and marinated it with the chicken, then I marinated the chicken with lime, then I chopped the garlic.

Next, I chopped the garlic into small pieces and then put it into the chicken. Then, I rubbed spices such as salt, stock powder and chili powder into the chicken.

I also cut the spring onions and chilies and put them in with the chicken to steam.

I also chopped up the red chilies and added them to the steamed chicken. I then steamed the chicken for about 20 minutes without adding any water.

RESULTS

This is the result, the steamed chicken was perfectly cooked, and a lot of water came out even though I didn't add water to the steamed chicken.
The steaming water is very tasty, so don't throw it away. You can use the steaming water as a sauce for your rice menu.
