Oh... this Filipino feast kamayan reminds me of Onam festival in our place. Here its the same. We all sit together either in the floor or the food is laid on the table, but only in banana leaves and around 23 (i believe so) side dishes. But the only difference is it is complete veg, but now-a-days people tend to eat non-veg with it. Nice share and nice to know about this .
