Hello, amazing Hive community!
It feels absolutely good to be here.
My journey here began with a nudge or maybe more like relentless convincing from my friend @ernesto6402. I became a member of the Hive community some time ago but hesitated to fully engage until recently, when he reminded me about Hive again and this time something clicked.
Before now, I wasn’t sure if I had a place here, if i fit in or if I could even keep up .That uncertainty kept me dragging my feet for a while until I started exploring the diverse communities here to find my place.Who knows,maybe this is exactly where I need to be!
Although, I’m still figuring out where I belong, but one thing is clear: I’m no longer sitting on the side-lines and certainly not dragging my feet any longer. I’m excited to be a part of a community filled with young and vibrant minds who are dedicated and hell bent on making lasting impact.And if you ask why the sudden interest? I honestly might not have a particular answer. But this I know, I want to be a part of something huge.Something that unlocks hidden potentials and strength I might not even know I have . It starts by making a small but deliberate decision, by showing up and contributing In my own way. I’m not yet sure what it is that I want to do but I plan on starting somewhere.

Let me officially introduce myself: I’m Edidiong John,a proud Nigerian from the South-South region (Akwa Ibom State), though born and breed in the city of Port Harcourt. I come from a beautiful family of 7 and graduated from the University of Uyo. I’m a lover of good food more like a foodie at heart and my love for good food can be summed up in a quote I once saw –
"people who love to eat are the best people in the world”.
We all know good food equals good mood,right?😁.My heart beats faster for local Nigerian dishes especially the swallows😋.
Paired with a great playlist and a plate of something delicious, you’ll likely find me curled up with an engaging book or binge-watching a romantic sitcom. Oh, and yes, I’m a hopeless romantic, a total sucker for love - yes again, I love Love!.
As an introvert, I often stayed in the shadows,danced between the edges,visible but not fully seen. But this is me choosing to be intentional. No longer shrinking or second-guessing.Hive has given me a platform to step into the light and Into the limelight. I’m here to be seen, to be heard, and to explore all I can be. I am here to show up as that chick who is soft,strong and completely herself.I may still be finding my footing, but with your support, I’m confident I can grow into a vibrant contributor just like many of you!😊
