This time of year everything is looking “ Fuzzy! “ Lol☺️
We recently watched a log home show where people were looking for the “Perfect Log Mountain Home”!
The realtor, was telling a prospective couple that they needed to spray the moss rock fireplace with beer to keep it alive!🙄
In the Pacific Northwest, beer isn’t necessary Lol!😇
Moss grows naturally on EVERYTHING Lol!🤣
From the glass windows on my pickup truck, to my Solar panels, moss is everywhere!😳
Today I hiked up past the “Floor Trail”, and headed North towards Canada and Westergreens forest…………
The last snow storm took down numerous branches/ trees in the forest.
I was hiking the trail where Keith and Lynne pump their household water from.
I was hoping one of these branches, or a tree, didn’t land on their water pump!
It is protected from the elements with the plastic enclosure you see in a couple of my photos.
It is very remote…………….😮
It was OK, and steadily pumping water!😊
The location of this pump, is several thousand feet downhill, and deep in the forest!
It really is an amazing design!😇
It is called a “Water Ram”!
It works like a pendulum on a clock!
Water pressure coming downhill keeps the ram in motion, moving back and forth.
Each time it moves in the opposite direction, it pumps water, uphill completely without electricity!
24 hours a day seven days a week it pumps water !😊
It was good to be outside, it has been raining steadily all day!
I passed my friend that lives in the tiny house on the way back home………..
“ Silvertop, they are calling for an “atmospheric river”!😳😅
Silvertop didn’t want to hear that!🙄
“ Maybe it will “stall” out somewhere on the Ocean…………….
