Sorry your wife is at the touch & go stage & you don't know what to do half the time.
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.......
Just a suggestion for you son 7 hrs away..... Maybe they can come for a weekend now so they won't miss all the final days & return home to life & maybe make a plan that if she's still hanging on in say maybe 2 or 3 weeks return for another weekend, & try to keep this going until that time arrives. This way no one misses work, school, or final ay times.
Seven hrs may be a long time but try a days travel just to have to return home, that's how far I had to travel when my mother was at this point. I only say this to help, not to compare but hopefully it helps you & the family see things differently.
