☕ This morning, my love... I'm full of joy, filled with the atmosphere.
A wonderful story on this rainy morning.🌧️☔
Hello, all my lovely friends.☕
🌈 This Friday morning... A little happiness with the scent of rain at Ban Na Taluang. It's Friday! I wish you all happiness, freshness, and clarity all day long. This morning... My husband and I's daily routine proceeded as warmly as usual, but what's more special is the atmosphere around the house.
As soon as I opened the door, the cool breeze hit my face. It's been raining for several days straight, so the weather is incredibly cool. And right now, many provinces are experiencing "giant swimming pool mode," a sudden act of nature. We understand that the current situation is both wet and stressful, and it can make us irritated by the endless water clouds.🌧️
But... no matter how high the water level rises, may our "spirit" be higher than the water. 💪
The news about the flooding is very worrying, but fortunately, Na Taluang District, Trang Province, where I live, is relatively safe due to the development of new canals. This prevents flooding like it used to... but while I'm somewhat relieved, I'm still not entirely confident. The water level in the fish pond and the pond in my backyard has risen considerably.
I have to be extra careful when driving into the garden because there are cows, ducks, chickens, and most importantly, the fish I've been raising. If a major flood were to happen, these fish would surely be free. (Even though I'm worried... I think I'll just have to let nature take its course.)

☕️👩🍳 Kitchen Story: Salted Fish Porridge and Herbal Ginger Tea
This morning started with a simple yet beloved breakfast: hot white rice porridge. Leftover rice from the previous day was boiled until soft and tender, served with fragrant fried salted fish.
A perfect division of labor:
Husband: In charge of all the drinks, making the fragrant coffee (you can see in the photo of him brewing a beautiful latte) and other herbal drinks for everyone in the house.
I take on the role of the cook in the kitchen, handling everything simultaneously.
Cooking: Cooking the rice (leftovers) and making the porridge.

Housework: Washing dishes, cleaning the bathroom, and putting clothes in the washing machine. In addition to rice porridge, I also boiled ginger tea as a herbal remedy this morning. In this cold weather, sipping something hot is incredibly healthy. Today, I tried boiling ginger mixed with basil leaves. The rich, zesty flavor instantly warmed my body!
When everything was ready, the tender rice porridge, two types of freshly fried salted fish, and various drinks were beautifully presented on the table. While I was serving the rice porridge for everyone, my husband acted as my personal photographer, capturing the little chaos and my love of food preparation (as you can see in the photo).
We ate together, sharing stories of the day, mainly about the rain that had been falling for several days and the slight concern about flooding in some provinces. Having breakfast together like this allowed us to start the day with positive energy and warmth as a family.

🏡✨ Post-meal routine: Caring for Mom and her beloved pet
After dinner, my daughter heads off to school, while I head to the kitchen to clean up the mess. Then, I take care of my beloved mom. My husband and I gently bathe her, while my sister prepares her clothes and makes her bed. Caring for her with love and care is something we do every day.

After taking care of Mom, it's time for the fluffy, winged members.
Parrot: Clean the cage, clean the equipment, and prepare food/water.
Sulcata Tortoise: Clean the cage and prepare food for the tortoise.
Once everything is settled and the housework has eased, it's time to head to the garden.
🌳🌧️ Wandering the garden in the rain, letting nature take its course Today, my husband and I braved the rain into the garden. Even with an umbrella, it didn't help much. We got soaked, as expected. Today's garden tasks included taking care of the cows, grazing, feeding the animals, feeding the ducks and chickens, feeding and catching the fish, and feeding the fish in the pond with leftover food. Today, I had a special mission: scooping up a 2-kilogram freshwater sea bass for a customer who had already ordered one.
My Worries As I looked down into the pond, I worried about the flooding. If it rained any harder, the fish would surely be free. However, the vastness of the pond made it impossible to enclose the fish. So, I decided to let nature take its course. Let what happens happen. That's life. Luckily, I brought home some produce. After finishing my mission with the fish, I noticed that the bananas in the orchard were starting to ripen and turn a delicious yellow.
The first bunch of bananas, I cut one bunch.
The second bunch of bananas, while driving out of the orchard, I saw bananas on the roadside starting to plump and near ripeness, so I cut two more bunches.
Jackfruit: I got another jackfruit.
Bonus: Banana blossom, duck eggs, and a few chicken eggs.

My husband and I returned home, soaked in rain, but filled with happiness and the fruits of our garden.
👓🤳🏻 Finally My phone, glasses, and I forgot about the market.
When I got home, I took another selfie (as you can see in the photo below) and searched for my glasses, which have become an indispensable pair. My phone, glasses, and me... they really go together. I'm constantly looking for them. I've lost many pairs every day, even after buying new ones. I'm so forgetful.👓😅
I hope you enjoyed this morning's story about my simple life, filled with happiness, love, and caring. See you next time! Thank you so much for following and supporting me. 🙏
