RE: Trying Pakistani Restaurant

in Foodies Bee Hivelast year

Curry is an authentic Bengali food, In other parts of India they don't like fish at all due to religious facts and meat also due to the vegetarian community, but Bangladesh and Kolkata are famous for curry-type foods. But India has a diverse cooking tradition and varieties in different parts of India. Even for curry, there are many variations in Bangladesh we love spicy (chili) but in many other parts they don't like spicy foods, they prefer 'chatni' a kind of sour 'fruit achar', and many kinds of them, some region prefer dry types foods, many many food culture that you can't get anywhere in the world!

I don't know about the Aryan race!

Hassan!
I was surprised to learn that curry is a Bengali food. In East Asia, curry is known as Indian food.
I was amazed at the diversity of countries, race, peoples and cultures in the Indian subcontinent.

I remember that the civilizations of the Indian subcontinent were built by a mixture of Aryan and Dravidian peoples.

I assumed you were Aryan.

Do you consider yourself Bengali?😃

Sure, I am Bengali by race and Bangladeshi as a citizen!

Hassan!
This was the first time I heard of the Bengali race.

East Asians understand Bangladesh and Pakistan as Aryan, and India as a mixture of Aryan and Dravidian.

Your argument is amazing! 😃

I have very little knowledge regarding these issues, but it is true we are not pure, the Dravidian and Aryan both were invaders, while there were some Chondal and local people before them and we mixed together and now we are Bengali!
I have no interest in finding my roots, these are valueless in my thoughts, also Islam doesn't divide or evaluate a man on his race, color, origin, incapability, rich or poor, these are meaningless as a humankind. But many nations are divided on these valueless arguments to prove themselves better than others, I am really irritated by such talking!

I agree with you!
