Well, I say give it a try because you might like it even more than you thought!
This is the case here.. I never expected that thing to come in handy for so many things. This is our third day that we have it and we already prepped every lunch and two dinners in it.

Tonight I will use it again. It also comes in handy for frozen bread to reheat it without having to use the big oven for just one or two small baguettes (hate that). The baking times have been short and the heat coming from the fryer is very minimal.
