While AI can indeed have some excellent uses, it must always be strongly constrained. There is a very pernicious AI-transhumanist agenda at play, trying to woo people with the magic of AI, and of integrating technology into human biology. The dangers far outway the potential benefits. Framing humans and machines as essentially the same is designed to create the perspective that humans, or natural life in general, is nothing special, and not sacred.
