Since "Day" has Day and Night in it, should it still be called Day? And if it is called "Day", what about the Night in it?

        Depends where you live I think. At my cottage in the far north we are having 24 hour sunlight since a while now in the summer it never gets dark. In the winter we have 24 hours darkness…

                    All the northern areas of the following countries do. Norway, Sweden, Finland etc. Probably northern Canada and Iceland too.
