Afternoon, folks. I'm back after a bit of time off with Tendonitis. It's still killing me, but we are getting there.
Today, we have a 1oz beauty: the 2-dollar Mickey Mouse Fantasia coin issued by NIUE via the New Zealand Mint.
From the pictures, the scratches are pretty bad, in person they don't look quite so bad, but even with the scratches I feel that it's a lovely coin and I didn't want to pass up on owning this one.
The Obverse of the Coin: Elizabeth II
Year: 2019
Value: 2 Dollars
Currency: Dollar of New Zealand
Silver: .999
Weight: 31.1 grams
Diameter: 40mm
Thickness: 3mm
Disney has always been popular and looks to be a sought-after collection so this made sense to buy and own. If it goes up in value later down the line then great. If not then we still have an ounce of silver within so either way I win.
I picked this up in the recent spending run I did, with more shiny coins to show you all, which will be shown as time goes on.
Now I'm back to resting the arm and hopefully I'll be back soon with more lovely things to show you all!
