I believe that in São Paulo they have a serious problem with this, and on rainy days you have to be careful too, I think there's a lot of flooding in some areas.

We stop by at the christmas village here in our town and it's clean as you can see in the photo. People are busy preparing for tonight's celebration.

Ice on the tree and the sunlight made the usually pale orange hue of this Ponderosa pine bark look deep orange. Almost red in areas.

As if the sunset decided to make amber directly on that bark ... that is lovely in a way not many in history have ever seen...
It really was a very vibrant color. At first I didn't think it was a tree hahaha...
The patterns on that bark are curious with the black outlines. Do you know if that's some kind of sap?
That is charring from a prescribed burn that took place a few years ago. They do it to try to help control wildfires. Supposedly safe for the trees.
It's interesting they can survive the fire. Maybe they have an evolved defense mechanism because of natural fires throughout history.

I don't think any ordinary person resisted selling. No one knew where this would lead. When you have money "in hand" that you've never held before, it's hard to resist taking such a profit.

There are also times where there are more Snaps than Waves for a given period, too. For instance, I just counted 27 Snaps to 7 Waves in the last four hours.
I see, it's good that we have these moments, I think it might be something to do with the time, for example here in Brazil when it's around 8 or 9 at night, I notice that the flow slows down, so it might be dawn in other countries and that's why people disappear from the snaps.
Yes, there is definitely a pattern of activity based on time-zones and such. I think that's always been a thing here, even back when it was Steem.

I think you're right. Snaps could use some promotion both on Hive as on Web 2.0

I confess that lately I'm not that active on snaps, but I haven't gotten that impression yet.
I think that any action that can improve the environment is always welcome.
I keep clicking on update and nothing comes up kkk, I stay like this for a while and nothing new, I think we need to promote snaps more and show how good it is here to communicate and interact.
Snaps is quite a bit newer, and the other two have large, tight communities while PeakD is much more broad ... some of this is the requirement of time, and some of this is indeed the need for @peakd to promote it more.
I agree with you, I hope that little by little more and more people come to the snaps and can fill here with their posts, ideas and feelings, that would be incredible! For 2025 hope it happens!

I did a simple survey yesterday. So the audience age was 19-25 with a few above 30. It was sent out to 60 people but only 12 filled it out 😔 so far

Yeah, I kinda agree with that. However, even though it's fun for them, it's always tied to the pressure of having to earn something (all the time).

It is important to see people from outside understand and understand how Brazil is being managed today.
Unfortunately, this is something that is quite common in some regions. We are regressing because of a corrupt and irresponsible government.
I see it in my country too. Other than the corrupt government, I can also blame our culture for not teaching kids not to litter.
You said it all, culture is something that is rooted in my people here too.
It would take a few decades to improve our situation.
