Some delightful Sunday cakes

Hello Hello to all you wonderful Hivians

Today this post is for #SublimeSunday which is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108.

Yesterday we were in town to do some shopping and got a shock as walked into the local shopping centre (shopping mall).

That was on Friday and where I bought the groceries for the weekend...

Here though was what we saw for the comicon!

Actually there were quite a lot of people dressed up.

Their costumes were not so good I have to confess...

I felt a bit funny taking their pics, so didn't!

What it did mean was that the shops we wanted to goto were pretty fluffing busy...

To get some fresh air, we went back onto the High Street, where of course you are never far from the sea.

Mrs T is not a fan of shopping unless it is a Charity shop ...

First up is the Chest Heart and Stroke one...

If there is one thing that we both love, then it is mugs!

And this one reminded me of someone ....

I think some students should be giving this to their MicroBiology teacher ... what do you think @beeeee

This next mug did come home with us ... 50 pence it was a bargain!

Well today we went out shopping again ...

All these steps I had this weekend, Fitbitch was going beserk, three 10k days in a row..

It was to the local Aldi store.

We were in the mood for CAKE!

Not the crypto kind ...

And no ... not the edible kind either 🤣

Yes there were Cakes of wool or yarn.

See they do have 20% wool in there.

The colours were pretty funky I thought.

100g cakes and they were on sale for £1.25 which is a bargain.

That was the reason we went to Aldi,to get some wool!

Actually Mrs T had been told by someone that they had a great value dupe of some skin moisturizer, so that was another reason.

We did get the moisturiser and these 4 cakes, plus some treets of course.

I have a week at home this week, so I need plenty of snacks as I have a stack of writing to do for various things, not to mention I have a backlog of crypto testnets that I want to get involved with this week...

There we have our four bought cakes today.

But can you see what also I bought today, that they are sitting on?

Let's have look see shall we?

That plus a wee spot of cooking this....

and a few more ingredients gave us dinner....

And that's a wrap from me ...

Let's hope the coming week is as good as this week has been!

Those Avengers items are super great I am sure the kids would love it especially those who loves comics☺️☺️

And yessss, students should be giving that mug to their microbiology teacher☺️☺️ that’s me hehe..

This is so cool though I think you should taken pics of the cosplay people. I'm sure most of them like to have photos taken by people.

Well you know I was going to but I soon realised that alot of them were kids and here people can get weird if you take pics with kids in them.

When you said cake, I never would have thought it was wools and yarns😅.

I can only imagine how terrible the costumes for the comicon were that you refused to take pictures.

Hehe yeah would confuse you unless you were into wool!
Oh because alot of the cosplayers were actually children. Here they don't really like you taking pictures of kids at all.

Ah darn it! I forgot to check if some of the things were silver, they often have teapots and cutlery that were silver back in the day! Good tip, and I shall etch that on my mind for next time 😁

That's the first thing I check! Then I look for Legos mini-figures because those sell really well on eBay and I usually triple my money. Then last I look for unused clothing, it's amazing some clothes in those places still have the tags from the original purchase... I love those stores!
