¡Hola amigos, feliz día e inicio de semana! Espero que se encuentren bien y que hayan tenido un excelente fin de semana. Por mi parte, me encuentro bastante bien gracias a Dios, este fin de semana no hice tanto ya que como les había comentado en un post anterior Fer se fue de retiro por lo que preferí quedarme en casa descansando un poco con las perritas, sin embargo, para ponernos al día y saber un poco más sobre su retiro, el día de hoy decidimos ir a almorzar. La idea principal era ir al restaurante ''Olivia'' que también se trata de comida Italiana, pero al llegar a la calle Bistro el restaurante aún no tenía atención al público por lo que decidimos ir a ''il forno'' que justo quedaba al frente.
La verdad es que me pareció un lugar super lindo, la decoración tenía tonos entre crema, nude y amaderados, las mesas estaban decoradas con la bandera Italiana, habían luces cálidas, un gran horno donde preparan las pizzas, panes, entre otros platillos y que justo podías ver desde afuera, algunos letreros en neón que llamaban la atención, a demás, el menú era una especie de periódico que tenía muchísimas opciones deliciosas al estilo italiano. Como entrada decidimos pedir unos pancitos il forno que ellos mismos preparan en el horno y sirven acompañados de una mantequilla compuesta super rica.
Como plato fuerte me decidí por unos canelones de pollo y champiñones en salsa blanca y napolitana junto a una copa de sangría con vino Rosé. Fer por otra parte, se decidió por una lasaña de pollo carbonara junto a una coca cola bien fría. Ambos platillos venían acompañados de pancitos horneados y estaban deliciosos, se podían apreciar que estaban recién salidos del horno. En mi caso, el platillo de canelones venía con bastante queso que se derretía al cortar cada bocado, simplemente delicioso. La copa de Sangría también estuvo muy rica, a demás de que con la elección de carne blanca fue un maridaje perfecto.
Al final quedamos más que satisfechos con la elección de nuestros platillos y a demás, la atención del mesero fue bastante amable. La cuenta dio un total de $130.000 pesos colombianos ($32.51 Dólares) incluyendo propina. Sin duda, la experiencia en este restaurante nos gustó demasiado por lo que podemos decir que se volvió uno de nuestro favoritos cuando de comida Italiana se trata ❤️.

The truth is that I thought it was a super nice place, the decoration had tones between cream, nude and woody, the tables were decorated with the Italian flag, there were warm lights, a large oven where they prepare pizzas, breads, among other dishes and you could just see from outside, some neon signs that caught the attention, in addition, the menu was a kind of newspaper that had many delicious Italian style options. As a starter we decided to order some il forno bread that they prepare themselves in the oven and serve with a super rich compound butter.
For the main course I decided on chicken and mushroom cannelloni in white and Neapolitan sauce with a glass of sangria in Rosé wine. Fer, on the other hand, decided to have a chicken carbonara lasagna with a cold coke. Both dishes were accompanied by baked bread and were delicious, you could tell they were fresh out of the oven. In my case, the cannelloni dish came with plenty of cheese that melted as you cut into each bite, simply delicious. The glass of Sangria was also very tasty, in addition to the fact that the choice of white meat was a perfect match.
In the end we were more than satisfied with the choice of our dishes and the waiter's attention was very kind. The bill came to a total of $130,000 Colombian pesos ($32.51 USD) including tip. Undoubtedly, we liked the experience in this restaurant so much that we can say that it has become one of our favorites when it comes to Italian food ❤️.
