Hola amigos, feliz mitad de semana! Espero que se encuentren súper bien y que hayan tenido un día increíble. No les pasa que cuando tienen unas mini vacaciones y les toca volver a la rutina les cuesta un poco? Bueno, yo ando en ese mood, por lo que debido a que mi semana como tal empezó hoy miércoles me siento un poco desganada aunque supongo que ya mañana será un mejor día. En fin, paso por aquí para terminar de hacerles el spam de la salida que tuve con mis amigos, que de hecho teníamos como 3 años o más sin vernos así que por supuesto, para el reencuentro queríamos ir a almorzar a un lugar súper lindo.
Aunque la idea principal era almorzar en el restaurante donde fui para mi cumpleaños, cuando llegamos nos dijeron que cerrarían temprano debido a que estábamos en planos carnavales, sin embargo, la chica súper amable nos recomendó el restaurante que queda justo en la planta de arriba y que se conecta con una escalera, la verdad solo subimos a echar un vistazo pero nos gustó tanto la fachada del lugar que decidimos darle una oportunidad.

Well, I'm in that mood, so since my week as such started today, Wednesday, I'm feeling a bit listless, although I guess tomorrow will be a better day. Anyway, I'm just dropping by to finish spamming you about the outing I had with my friends, in fact we hadn't seen each other for 3 years or more so of course, for the reunion we wanted to have lunch at a super nice place.
Although the main idea was to have lunch at the restaurant where I went for my birthday, when we arrived we were told that they would close early because we were in carnival plans, however, the super nice girl recommended us the restaurant that is right on the top floor and is connected with a staircase, the truth is that we only went up to take a look but we liked the facade of the place so much that we decided to give it a try.
Cómo les comentaba en el título, el restaurante lleva por nombre "Ebano" y cuenta con una zona al aire libre la cual es bastante fresca ya que está cubierta por árboles y además, una zona con aire acondicionado donde escogimos almorzar. Si les soy sincera al inicio pensé que los precios del menú serían un poco costosos debido a la decoración del lugar, ya que a mi parecer es bastante linda y elegante, tiene mesas de mármol y otras en madera si no me equivoco, pero con un acabado bastante lindo. También, adentro del lugar está la barra por si deseas solo consumir cócteles o bebidas y por supuesto, la mesa donde nos sentamos tenía una vista increíble al patio del lugar el cual estaba lleno de plantas.
As I mentioned in the title, the restaurant is called “Ebano” and has an outdoor area which is quite cool as it is covered by trees and also an air-conditioned area where we chose to have lunch. To be honest, at the beginning I thought that the prices of the menu would be a little expensive due to the decoration of the place, since in my opinion it is quite nice and elegant, it has marble tables and others in wood if I am not mistaken, but with a very nice finish. Also, inside the place there is a bar in case you only want to have cocktails or drinks and of course, the table where we sat had an incredible view of the patio which was full of plants.
Una vez que escaneamos el menú QR, nos dimos cuenta que los precios eran bastante cómodos, a demás, de que cuenta con opciones bastante variadas, desde pastas, hamburguesas, sándwich, carnes, entre otras. Por mi parte, me decidí por un sándwich árabe que viene preparado con pan tipo árabe, lomo salteado en salsa de especies, queso mozzarella, cebollas crunch y rúcula, este platillo venía acompañado de papas francesas y hummus de garbanzo el cual tenía un toque de Tajín.
Por otra parte, Fer se decidió por un lomo romero el cual venía acompañado de un puré gratinado con trocitos de tocineta. Ambas opciones estaban realmente deliciosas, mi sándwich me encantó ya que no se sentía tan cargado, la rúcula se sentía bastante fresca y el lomo estaba delicioso, las papas a la francesa por otra parte eran bastante delgaditas y crujientes por lo que acompañadas del hummus sabían aún más increíbles.
Ambos decidimos pedir una soda de lychee y sandía para acompañar la cual nos sorprendió, estaba muy rica y refrescante.
Once we scanned the QR menu, we realized that the prices were quite comfortable, besides the fact that it has a wide variety of options, from pastas, burgers, sandwiches, meats, among others. For my part, I decided on an Arabian sandwich prepared with Arabian bread, loin sautéed in spicy sauce, mozzarella cheese, crunch onions and arugula, this dish was accompanied by French fries and chickpea hummus which had a touch of Tajin.
On the other hand, Fer opted for a rosemary tenderloin, which was accompanied by a mashed potatoes au gratin with bacon bits. Both options were really delicious, I loved my sandwich as it didn't feel too heavy, the arugula felt quite fresh and the tenderloin was delicious, the french fries on the other hand were quite thin and crispy so with the hummus they tasted even more amazing.
We both decided to order a lychee and watermelon soda to go with it which surprised us, it was very tasty and refreshing.
Mis amigos, también supieron escoger muy bien sus opciones las cuales constaban de lasagna Ragú y pinchos de lomo, tenían una pinta increíble. Al final, llevaron serenata a la mesa de al lado así que sin querer disfrutamos de música en vivo. Cuando salimos quisimos hacer algunas fotos para el recuerdo que me encantaron ya que quedaron muy lindas.
Sin duda fue una excelente experiencia que tuvimos sin querer, ya que realmente no pensábamos almorzar en este lugar, de hecho, ya teníamos algunas otras opciones en mente pero al final, terminó sorprendiéndonos. Por todo, pagamos un total de $227.000 Pesos Colombianos ($55.16 Dólares) incluyendo propina, la pasamos increíble y nos encantó el lugar. Sin más, por aquí les comparto algunas fotos amigos.
