Ben and I have been planning to dine in this restaurant for the longest time. He loves seafoods as much as I do, despite the allergic reaction he would get right after eating some.
Finally, our schedules permit and we had the time to meet up in this restaurant at the Boulevard. There are new emerging restaurant that offers similar bucket shrimp but this place is the original creator of what is now hyped bucket shrimp.
This restaurant is well known for their signature bucket shrimp special. We ordered the Cajun flavor but it's not spicy at all. They also have other food in the menu like pork liempo and chicken but we opted to order what we're here for- the shrimp.
After seeing so many reels in social media about eating bucket shrimps, I finally got to try eating on a manila paper and banana leaf. We also use plastic gloves instead of spoon and fork as how it should be eaten.
The simplicity of the interior and it's al fresco dining gives all the more comfort while eating their delicious shrimp.
With two cups of rice each and a good amount of sauce, we finished the whole bucket feeling so satisfied! I thought we'd have to order additional shrimp but turns out, the serving size was quite huge and can be good for 3 people.
The price of the bucket is just less than 300 pesos, but the bottled water is what made our order expensive- it's at 50 pesos for a small bottle. But overall, it was a great experience!
This place is also well visited by foreigners and other non locals because of their tasty shrimp.
