Hello, how are you? My head hurts from our grocery trip earlier, for our Baguio trip tomorrow. I just finished packing the things I needed for the trip, where we are staying overnight. What I am going to do is take a bath and sleep.
By the way, my mom is craving buttered shrimp today. I guess it has been a while since we ate one. I wanted a seafood boil, but we only have shrimp, so I need to improvise LOL.
Ingredients I Used:
Ingredients I Used:
- 1 Bulb of Shrimp
- 2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- tsp. Tomato Paste
- Half Kilo Shrimp
- tsp. Fish Sauce
- tsp. Oyster Sauce
- 1 Bulb Garlic
- 5 Boiled Egg
- Squeeze of Lemon
- Dash of Chili Powder
- Dash of Ground Pepper
- tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- Shrimp Broth Cube
- 2 Red Onion
Let's Cook!
Let's Cook!
In a pan, I added 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
Then I added the aromatics like garlic and red onion, and sauteed them until the fragrance came out.
I added two tablespoons of butter.
After that, I added 1 tablespoon of tomato paste. This makes the color more appetizing.
Next thing I added was the shrimp. Mix everything.
To remove the fishiness of the shrimp, I added just a teaspoon of fish sauce.
I added a teaspoon of oyster sauce.
I added the boiled egg to let the flavor seep into it.
Then I added a squeeze of lemon.
A dash of chili powder.
A dash of ground pepper.
To balance the taste, I added a tablespoon of brown sugar.
Then I added 1/4 cup of water and a half cube of shrimp broth.
Boil for half a minute and done.
Serve hot and plated.
Happy eating.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
