My daily health routine

Greetings!

Health they say is wealth, and to stay healthy is not a monthly or yearly routine, but a minute by minute one. What do I mean by this? Staying healthy is not about going for medical checkups today and waiting for months to go for another checkup. No! It's a daily routine that must be done. So, to stay healthy, one needs to be his or her own doctor.

Hitting the gym after the day work just to shed fat and other toxic from the body is good, but this only is not enough to stay healthy. I have seen people doing this and not at the level they were supposed to be health wise. So, like I said, staying healthy defies going to gym alone as their are other measures that can be put in place to staying and living a healthy life.

Now, back to the topic before me, which has to do about the other routines that can make me to stay healthy after a hectic day, I will like to share with us about my normal lifestyle which has became my daily routine and that has been sustaining me health wise.

So, apart from me going to the gym to burn out fat from my body and also, apart from going for my monthly regular checkups at the hospital, there's some measure I have overtime put in place to maintain and sustain my health status, most especially after the day's work. Part of these measures are:

TAKING GOOD FOOD AND FRUIT:

one of those measures of mine to staying healthy even after a hectic day at work is to eating good food, there's a saying in my local language that says," food is medicine." Yes, to be candid, food is truly the best medicine for human. So as a result of this, I have never joked with eating good food in my life and one of the best moment of my life anytime anyday is when I'm eating. Though, I don't just eat anyhow, I do eat balance diet which I believe will nourish my body and system. And not only eating balance diet, but also eating right and at the right time. This has really been my best way for me to staying healthy. Whenever I eat and sweat out the metabolic acid from my body, I'm always fulfilled.


Also, eating vegetables and fruit is very important to me in my healthy living habit. Atimes after the hectic day and before eating, what I used to do is to eat fruit and this is because of the nutrients these fruits will add to my body system. I love to take oranges and pawpaw and thank God even in my compound, there's orange and pawpaw trees, so I have direct access to getting them without even paying a dime for them. What of vegetables? Another thing that I eat is vegetables and this has always sustain and maintain my health status as well.

TAKING MY REST:

Taking rest after a hectic day at work has always been of paramount importance to me, gone are those days that I used to take little or no time to rest after the day's work, but now I'm a big fan of taking rest and whenever I'm taking my rest, I take it without allowing any form of disturbance maybe from own end or from others and because of this, I used to put my cellphone on DnD. This has really saved me from unnecessary stress.

STAYING HAPPY:
Staying happy is another way of keeping my mental health at bay. Gone are the days when I used to get disturbed with everything going on around me, but now, instead of being sad and depressed, I have always take everything lightly and not only that, I so much nowadays engage in those thing that will always keep me happy and alive, part of which includes: reading comical content, watching comical skits on my phone, playing with my children and most especially eating good food, whenever I'm eating, I'm always happy and this is because I eat as a king
.
So, like I said earlier, staying healthy is and should be a daily routine and from my own perspective, eating good food, taking better rest and staying happy are all good medications for a healthy living and do not forget that health is wealth and we should all be our personal doctor.
