Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barokatuhu.
Hello my dear friends.
I am @rasel72. From #Bangladesh.
Food-loving Bengalis always rush to taste new foods when they find them. Not only that, they also make various types of delicious foods at home. So many exotic foods, so many exotic names for them. The taste of each food is different. I have come with one such food post to share with you. Due to my physical and mental problems, I am unable to post. I try to share a few posts with you from time to time. I hope I can post regularly. Today, while browsing through my phone gallery, I came across a few pictures. These were taken last Eid. That is, after Eid-ul-Fitr, while I was walking around. If we have a house on the bridge built over the Gorai River next to our house, we regularly go there. When it comes to Eid or any event, the bridge is the only place to hang out with friends.
One day after Eid-ul-Fitr, my friend Emon called me in the evening and said that we should spend some time together at the bridge. I got ready after Maghrib and went to the bridge. Then my friend Emon also came. Then the two of us started walking on the bridge together. We were talking about various kinds of conversations. Basically, we were talking about my physical and mental problems. I could not control myself in any way, I was suffering from depression, we were talking about getting out of all this. As we were walking ahead, I saw a car. Which looks like a van, has three wheels, and a round drum on top. On which there are many things written. Later I found out that matha is being sold here. I have never eaten matha before. Even though I saw it being sold in many places in Dhaka, I did not feel like eating it. That is why I never ate it.
I went in front of the car. My friend said let's eat matha, I said okay let's eat it, I have never eaten it today, let's see how it tastes. My friend has eaten these a few times before. It tastes a lot like yogurt. It also looks a lot like yogurt or ghee. We ordered two cups for the two of us. The man was selling Dario Matha in the middle of the bridge. Standing on the bridge in the beautiful environment of the river and enjoying the cool breeze of nature is a different pleasure. We noticed that the price of a glass of Matha was written on the car as 20 taka (approximately 1.2 steam). After a while, the desired Matha arrived in front of us. Which I was going to eat for the first time. I hope it tastes good.
The first sip felt quite good. Slowly I finished eating the matha with each sip. It was very good for me for the first time. It tasted a lot like ghurt or curd. After eating, my friend asked me how it tasted. I replied that it was quite good, not bad. Then I laughed a little. Then after paying the bill, we started walking, talking as before. However, I have heard that Matha also has different flavors. The flavors of Matha sold inside Dhaka have not yet been tested. Hopefully, one day we will see it and see how it tastes. After reaching almost the end of the bridge, the two of us went to a shop to have lemon sherbet.
There is no comparison to lemon sherbet to keep the body cool during the summer. People in various places in our bridge make and sell lemon sherbet like this. They sell it for only 10 taka (about 0.8 steam) per glass of sherbet. We asked them to make two sherbets for us. After some time, the cold sherbet appeared between us. We both ate the sherbet and started talking again. I spent the rest of the evening in a beautiful way by eating Matha and Sharbat on the bridge. It was nice to share this with you even though it is late. I hope you all have tried both these types of Sharbat. If you have tried it, please tell me in the comments how you like it. Everyone stay well and healthy. I will see you again with a new post of mine.
