These days, it's crucial for culinary businesses, cafes, and coffee shops to have a good internet connection or Wi-Fi.
Meanwhile, at home, I usually buy an internet package from a local provider.
My home internet connection isn't always good. So, if I have an urgent need, I usually find a cafe or coffee shop to work.
I happened to be cooking today because my husband wasn't eating at home. He was on business.
So, I was looking for a cafe with good internet access and delicious food at affordable prices.
I took an online motorcycle ride to the cafe. It's Srivijaya Coffee Roastery. It's 5 km from my house. Not far.
From the front, the cafe looks like a typical shophouse that also doubles as a home. Just a small space.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly by the fragrant aroma of coffee, as the cafe also offers a coffee bean grinding service.
It turns out there's a wide selection of coffee options available for purchase. There's also a variety of teas available.
I went to my order counter and ordered my food first. I was interested in trying the Rice Bowl with a simple omelet.
When my order arrived, I was a little surprised. It turned out to be quite a large portion for me. Look at the bowl. I hope I can finish it like this Rice Bowl.
At the top of the menu was an omelet with a nice texture topped with chopped onions and spring onions. The onion flavor was quite strong, but I didn't mind it at all, since I'm used to eating onions and spring onions.
The omelet wasn't dry, and it went well with the rice. Overall, it was perfectly acceptable for my palate.
And guess what? I was able to finish this portion. I guess I was starving. Ehehe.
Well, after finishing my meal, I ordered a coffee to accompany me working. I opened my laptop, started working, and waited for my coffee to arrive.
I ordered a hot cafe latte. Oh, and the coffee was surprisingly strong! Good, I needed that. At least it kept me awake.
Even without latte art, it didn't matter. The most important thing was that the coffee tasted really, really good.
The cafe staff was also nice. She gave me free mineral water. Well, mineral water is hard to find here, so usually we have to buy it. But at this cafe, I asked for a glass of warm water, and they gave it to me for free. I really appreciated that.
Overall, this place has good food, good coffee, and good Wi-Fi! All good vibes that kept me working. Also, good prices. I paid $2.5 for all my order. Good, right? 😊
The cafe's surroundings are simply designed with various types of coffee and tea for sale. A nice place. 😊
