From its name "Tilawi", that surely sounded inviting and appetizing when it was suggested. There could be times that we really crave of something out of the blue and instantly locked that place as a target. For a week or more, I've eyeing this place badly to satisfy another cravings of mine. However, the Patata with me can't eat pork meat and since this is a Samgyupsalan, then of course, pork meat wouldn't be absent in the menu.
Well, this place got it all! They have pork, chicken and beef in one set, plus the side dishes and drinks.
It wouldn't be fair for the both of us if I'm the only one who got to enjoy eating. The Samgyupsal chain at the Baywalk offers only pork, nothing else, so we couldn't go back there even if scenery would be best since we could watch the sunset while eating. We looked for other options and the Patata discovered this Tilawi Samgyupsal House through their Facebook Reels.
We went here on my day off since that's the only free time I have now, obviously. As for this place, it is situated along the Circumferential Roads beside Watson's Store, going to the New Government Center of Bacolod. Since that is where located, that only means that the place would be very busy and crowded most of the time. It's the reason why we're a bit anxious if we could get a table in the House. To be sure, we messaged the page and they only replied that their policy is, "first come, first serve", for smaller groups but if for families or big parties, they offer bookings for that and have a different deals, too.
We have chosen their SET C since it includes pork, beef and chicken. For 2 people, that would cost Php 398.00 and it has only 1 pitcher of Pineapple drink. They also have alcohol based drinks and the famous Soju, but that's outside the sets of orders in their menu. You have to pay differently for that. Well, that's okay. We came here to eat more than to drink.
One thing that could surely make you try this place upon entering is the smell of the grilling. IT'S HEAVEN!
It makes you don't wanna leave the place, but later, you will have to, of course since you'll be too full with all the foods here. When I entered this place, it made me crave more and it's like I felt hungrier twice because even the smell is appetizing and mouth watering.
When our orders got served, we haven't taken a lot of photos of the place or even ourselves. We dig in and feasted on the food on the table instead. We're too focused on the food and couldn't care less with anyone around or taking any memento. FOOD IS LIFE.
There we go, the aftermath of the disaster!
While we're trying to finish the side dishes, we asked for one more pitcher of juice because it's not enough. We almost couldn't breath from being too full and we needed the drink. So, when we went out the place, I feel like a bubble and I wanna unzip my pants to breath a little. Yet, of course, it's a public place, I couldn't afford to shame myself. Instead, we walk around the Upper East to digest some of the food we have eaten.
Anyway, that's all for another foodie story from me. If by any chance that you are around Bacolod or any of you can visit here, this place is recommendable. They have tasty foods and good service. All the employees are friendly!
