Prosiguiendo con la Ruta del helado, ahora hago una parada en Helados Dominic, este es un lugar al que nunca había ido, y fuimos un día miércoles que tuvimos libre en el coro, entonces surgió la idea de probar estos helados. Fuimos al local ubicado en Lechería, aunque cabe destacar que esta heladería tiene otras sucursales en otras ciudades aledañas.
Continuing with the ice cream route, now I make a stop at Helados Dominic, this is a place I had never been, we went on a Wednesday day we had free in the choir and then the idea came up to try these ice creams. Los locales donde expenden helados en mi estado suelen ser pequeños y esta no es la excepción, de hecho las heladerías parecen caracterizarse por eso, son sitios pequeños, pero confortables. Diría que la imagen de helados Dominic no es la que esperaba de una heladería, empezando por los colores contrastando amarillo, azul, naranja y negro, diría, como publicista, que no son los colores adecuados para una marca de helados.
Una vez que llegamos al lugar nos enteramos de que ese día tienen una promoción de 2x3 helados, es decir pagas dos helados y puedes comer tres, a nivel de marketing me parece una excelente estrategia, ya que muchas personas buscan cantidad en un producto y así como donde comen dos, comen tres en este caso, es una promoción genial para aumentar el tráfico en el local, de hecho pude presenciar la gran cantidad de personas que se dieron cita ese día en el local, fue un flujo de comensales constante.
The local selling icecream in my state are usually small and this is no exception, in fact the ice cream parlors seem to be characterized by that, they are small but comfortable places. I would say that the image of Dominic ice cream is not what I expected from an ice cream shop, starting with the contrasting colors of yellow, blue, orange and black, I would say, as an advertiser, that they are not the right colors for an ice cream brand.
Once we arrived at the place we found out that that day they have a 2x3 ice cream promotion, that is, you pay for two ice creams and you can eat three, from a marketing point of view it seems to me an excellent strategy, since many people look for quantity in a product and just as where they eat two, they eat three in this case, it is a great promotion to increase traffic in the place, in fact I could witness the large number of people who gathered that day in the place. it was a constant flow of clients.
Ahora les daré de mi opinión sobre el helado, empezaré diciendo que no ha sido mi favorito, la porción de helado es adecuada, pero no encontrarás una barquilla llena de helado hasta el final, podría decir que el sabor es algo plano, pues probé tres tipos y no sentí las capas de sabores que estaba esperando. Los toppings si me parecen interesantes, como ese que ves en la foto con trozos de barquilla. En cuanto al cono se nota que es hecho en casa, y se agradece el detalle aunque podría llegar a extrañar las líneas distintivas del típico cono de helado, en cuanto a la cremosidad del helado siento que le falta un poco más, en líneas generales es un helado de buena calidad, pero que en mi opinión no llega a ser inolvidable.
Now I will give you my opinion about the ice cream, I will start by saying that it has not been my favorite, the portion of ice cream is adequate, but you will not find a full scoop of ice cream until the end, I could say that the flavor is somewhat flat, because I tried three flavors and I did not feel the layers of flavors that I was expecting. The toppings do look interesting to me, like the one you see in the photo with pieces of the wafer. As for the cone you can tell it's homemade, and the detail is appreciated, although I could miss the distinctive lines of the typical ice cream cone, as for the creaminess of the ice cream I feel it lacks a little more, overall it's a good quality ice cream, but in my opinion it's not unforgettable.
