Good morning to all hive friends! How are you today? Today, I would like to show you how to prepare a delicious toffee made from pineapple, perfect for tea time. I used a small pineapple that I had grown at home. This recipe is very easy to prepare and incredibly tasty. For the best taste and sweetness, it is advisable to choose fully ripe pineapples. Additionally, using mature coconuts with a higher oil content will increase the richness of the toffee. A sturdy wooden spoon is ideal for stirring the toffee mixture while cooking. When paired with tea, this delicious toffee becomes a mouth-watering treat. So, let's see how to prepare this!
Required Ingredients...
🍀 1 small ripe pineapple.
🍀 1 cup of grated coconut.
🍀 2 tablespoon of milk powder.
🍀 1/2 cup of sugar.
🍀 salt as needed.
🍀 1 tablespoon of butter.
Method of making.....
First, take the pineapple and remove the crown and stem. Then, peel the skin, ensuring all the eyes are removed. Wash it well, cut the pineapple into four parts, and grate it into a bowl using a grater. As shown in the pictures below.
Then strain the pineapple puree through a strainer and keep the pineapple pulp separately.
Then take a pan and put it on the stove and let it heat up. Once the pan is hot, add the pineapple puree.
Then, after the pineapple puree is quite thick, add sugar and salt to it and mix well. mix it again until it becomes thicker.
Then add grated coconut, butter and milk powder to it and mix continuously for about 10 minutes.
Next, put it on a buttered tray and thin it out and cut it into desired shape. Let it cool to firm up.
So, this delicious pineapple toffee is ready! Experiment with adding spices like cinnamon or cardamom for a unique taste. You can also mix in chopped nuts like almonds or cashews for added texture and flavor. It has an amazing taste.
