More often than not, we think people only care about pricing but that’s not the whole story. While price matters these days people are increasingly more aware that if a place is too expensive for your pocket, you’re not their targeted business.

While I am in town, I am still amazed that I find places that are still in business despite new coffee shops popping up. This particular place is known for the most expensive cafe in town. The place is called Eazy Coffee. They have been operating for 4++ years usually during years when operating many coffee shops and cafes are lowering their quality and standard. Then eventually, they’ll close down their business because of no improvements and the quality that’s lowering while many new places are popping up. But this place was quite an exception. They are still thriving and doing fairly well.

From what I remembered, they still serve the same thing. Their menu hasn’t really changed much other than a few additional popular menus such as cream cheese macchiato. Their service didn’t change that much and the place is still as I remembered.

The last time I was in the place was when I took one of my nieces for a cute coffee date. She really likes the place and loves their spaghetti bolognese. While for me, I really love their creme brulee latte.

It’s amazing how over the course of years, their coffee didn’t change at all. It tastes just the same and the way I like it. It has the right amount of sweetness and a good balance between milk and coffee where I could still taste the coffee.

At the same time, I am amazed that this place stays in business despite newer places and fancier spots popping up. One thing I also noticed is that their price isn’t really changing much. I am also amazed that the pricing is a lot lower than Yogyakarta, where I live. They are still pretty affordable while technically the minimum wage is twice higher than Yogyakarta.

I said this place's premium is because their service and food quality don’t change. It is still the same as when I tasted it. Which is why whenever I am in town,I visit this place at least once just to get that nostalgic feeling.

This place was like a reminder of who I used to be or the dreams I used to have. From this place, I was still using my old laptop, checking out coinmarket caps way too often and did day trade. My experience in this place showed me in different stages of life. From starting up, getting established to the moments today, when I am struggling once more. It’s not that I despised the struggling, instead it motivated me to prove to myself that I can push beyond my boundaries and start all over again.

I also sampled their menu but sadly didn’t take any pictures of them. I was too busy savoring the yummy meals that I haven’t really had in a while. At least it also gave me more strength to go through difficult times in my life. Not to mention lately I am pretty sick too but just as my mom said, ‘ there's a silver lining and as long as you can afford your coffee, that means you still have options and a way out’.
