Meta Starts Showing Ads on WhatsApp
Will this be the push people need to switch to an alternative?
I've installed Signal long ago, but until now not many people are using it. I hope this will have the desired effect.

Thank goodness there are better WhatsApp alternatives out there. I personally mostly frequent Telegram, did heard about Signal but haven't tried it yet.
The advantage of Signal is that it is owned by a non profit organisation.
I use signal and all sorts of messaging. It's so hard to stay away from Whatsapp living in Indonesia because my family and friends use it.
I think the problem is worldwide. I may convince my close family, but indeed friends and all the whatsapp groups that I'm in will be a problem.
That really sucks man. I can't believe why they do this. I wonder how that will work. Will it show you an ad while chatting or just at stories page?
I think on the chats page, but who knows they will also put it in chats.
That you first have to watch a video clip before you can message 😂
