This movie was hilarious.

The lady proposed marriage to secure her place in Canada.

The guy accepts the proposal to get a promotion.

And then, they fall in love. 🤭
You can picture the rest. 😂

What do you think about a lady proposing marriage to a man?

The premise of the script is quite interesting (just like the cast), but I thought the movie pretty dull most of the time.

It wasn't for me but maybe it's because I was more focused on the cast. 😅

Got it.

It's funny you know but I don't really know where the whole rule came from that a man must be the only one to propose or ask a woman out. Maybe because God called them the head sha and especially in Africa, it's our culture. So it becomes abnormal when a woman is seen doing so

Well, I guess people just have to go for what works best for them. We can not figure this out totally because there will always be men and women who can not make the first move and they still find in some way. 😅

I swearrr they finds it o and you get to wonder how this shy man ended up getting married

Lol exactly!

It's a matrix, more or less like a default setting 😂

Like people tend to see her like being desperate because she proposed to a man she loved

This is very true, a lot of them have been used and full of regrets for proposing first but I think they had bad choices of the kind of men they approached.

I think that's exactly the problem. When love is shown to the wrong person, everything turns wrong

And honestly, that's the part that is more evident, sadly. 🥲

And when it turns that way, it definitely gives the wrong impression to another female who might wanna try such. So it's complicated

That's the point.

Exactly 💯 the right person won't take it for granted

But have you also ever wondered that people don't see your own to discuss? They will only see it as a big deal if you do it in a public place

The funny part is that some men are actually timid when it comes to asking a woman they love our let alone to marry and the lady who also likes him would not want to look desperate in case it's a one-sided love

Same for women but personally, I feel someone who is sure about how they feel wouldn't want to leave their love life to chance, they have to make a move. For women, it shouldn't mean begging a man to marry them, there should be better ways to propose without proposal, I think.

Ehhhh that one is deep there.. Better ways to propose without propose
Please shed more light 😉

Lol no light to shed but there are what we call "giving green lights" like making a man notice and see the possibility of you being a wife to him. 😅

More better way actually, but we are trying to follow how it's been done in the western world

Hahaha
Here in Nigeria, it can be seen as an abomination by many people 😅
I see nothing wrong with it 💝

Lol for real, abomination is the word. 😂
Yeah, it doesn't really matter who makes the move first but maybe about if it's worth doing. Only few ladies who do it go after the right kind of man, some men would not take that in a positive way.

Yes that is true 💯 it works very well if the woman is proposing marriage to a man that is worthy of it
If not, the situation will be used for mockery and online topic 🤩

True!

Exactly 😂 We see it as abomination and is registered in most of our heads as that

Default setting abi auto settings 😅

Default o 😂 by default it can't be done by a woman

That is true 😆

May our gender be saved from this whole feelings encryption while waiting for the man to make his move

You have the perfect world for it "abomination" that captures it💯😂

Hahaha

Ideal it'd be :)

You think so? 🤔

When I read through this, a kind of smile came to my face, not because of what the lady did, but because of how many people, especially women, will react to this in our woConsidering Looking at the old custom, some stexpect the men to ta,ke the led,& then,we have publ.pinions....

But what I see is that, once a lady is so sure, knowing fully that it's a fine deal, and the man is taking long, age can go ahead.
However,it still all comes down to whether the lady is ready to break the....

rule, ready for what comes with it and choose between old custom and the modern tradition
Some says the are in the modern era but still do things in the old way. To me, I see nothing bad when a lady does it just that our society will see it as weird

It's only weird or bad until it comes to an individual level, do you want a woman to ask you out or would you like to be the one who asks a man out?

I'd still be the one to ask. That's my preference, not because I believe a woman asking is wrong. I don't think who asks first determines the value or success of the relationship

That's a good mindset. We should focus more on our preferences over what society says it must be.

It totally depends on the individual. And I'll say it should be the case of "a good woman" really found "a good man" because if it's a wrong man or woman, they will be used or create a war home.
The same for when the man makes the move though.

It's how it have been but I get how it should be the women taking the move sometimes. Still, men are made to lead in every aspect as God has made them though. 🫠

Leading and proposing aren't necessarily the same thing though. A woman proposing doesn't automatically mean the man stops leading. Sometimes it's simply one person expressing interest first. Don't confuse that aspect

Well, that makes sense, just not relatable.

That's exactly my point😅 Something doesn't have to be relatable to be valid. If a man expressing interest first doesn't define his leadership, neither does a woman expressing interest take it away
Hope you get

I get, what is right and works best should be what is done.

But if it occurs ehn, such lady will trend unless it was done in their private room

But people don't see it that way o and rn it has made so many ladies shut down on that idea of taking the first move except all these very exposed ladies who do not send anyone

every 90 day fiancé pair minus the love part

True, this version remembered to add feelings for viewer's sake. 😅
