Yesterday I went to Monzennakacho for my elder son's intensive juku course. My second son was also with me.
My elder son is planning to take the junior high school entrance examination next year. It is a high-tiered exam, so I think there is almost no chance of passing...but I thought it would be better to do as much as we can. The mock test and the class are from 9:00 to 15:00, and it is too far to go home once. So, my second son and I decided to kill some time in the Monzennakacho area.
An antique market was just being held at Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, so at first I looked at the stalls with curiosity. But...! The next thing I knew, I was too cold to concentrate on shopping. I could not catch a cold, so I took refuge in a nearby shopping mall. That was at 10:00 in the morning. I almost despaired of how we would spend the next 5 hours, but fortunately it was a large facility with a food court, a pet store, and a bookstore, so we managed😅
Naturally, I could not bring myself to cook dinner when I got home. So on the way home, we had dinner at a family restaurant near the station closest to our house. I checked the bus time in advance and stayed at the family restaurant until the last minute (I did not want to wait at the bus stop in the cold), but missed the bus and walked home. I was cold all day and felt like I finally came back to life after soaking in the bathtub.
When I looked at the number of steps on my phone, I had walked almost 20,000 steps. I think both my second son and I did a great job. And of course, my elder son who spent 6 hours at juku! By the way, my husband went to the horse race with his friends that day and came home losing😂

昨日は長男の塾の集中講座のため、次男を連れて門前仲町へ行ってきました。
長男は来年、中学受験の予定です。難易度の高い学校なので合格可能性はほぼないと思っていますが・・できるだけのことは、やっておいた方が良いかなと思って。模試と授業、合わせて9時〜15時の長丁場ですが、一度帰宅するには遠いんですよね。そこで、次男とふたり、門前仲町周辺で時間を潰すことにしました。
ちょうど富岡八幡宮で骨董市を開催中だったので、最初は物珍しくて見ていました。が・・・！もう寒くて寒くて。風邪を引くわけにはいかないので、近くのイトーヨーカ堂に避難しました。それが朝の10時です。この後5時間も、どう過ごせば良いのだろうと絶望しかけましたが、幸いフードコートやペットショップ、書店などが入った大きな施設だったため何とかなりました😅
当然晩御飯など作る気になれないので、帰りに自宅最寄駅付近のファミレスで晩御飯を食べて帰りました。バスの時間を事前にチェックし、ギリギリまでファミレスで粘った（寒い中バス停で待ちたくなかったので）ところ、粘り過ぎてバスを逃し、徒歩で帰宅。
もう一日寒くて寒くて、湯船に浸買ってようやく生き返った気分でした。
スマホで歩数を見ると、2万歩近くも歩いていました。私も次男も、頑張ったなと思います。もちろん、6時間を塾で過ごした長男も！ちなみに夫はこの日、友達と有馬記念に行き、負けて帰ってきました😂
