Mini Corn Harvested from My Garden๐ŸŒฝ

The dry weather has affected the corn in my garden. They have been growing very slowly, and ants are attacking the cobs. I needed to water them, but because of water-saving warnings, I couldnโ€™t give them enough. Even after the rain came, it was a bit too late for the corn to grow well. Finally, we had some morning dew, but the situation had already slowed their growth.

Still, they keep trying. Corn always looks beautiful to me. I love watching them and even talking to them. This year, I often told them, โ€œYouโ€™re doing okay, go for it!โ€ especially in the mornings.

These were the first harvest of the year. Yes, they were very small, but the smell of the silk was wonderful. As you can see, the corn silk had turned brown, which meant it was time to pick it.

I once shared the Corn Lady folk story. In short,

A mysterious woman appeared to a hungry people. She gave her life so corn would grow, becoming the Corn Mother, the sacred giver of food and spirit.

Whenever I see corn, I remember this story. The tassels look so delicate, almost like jewelry.

They were tiny, but very tasty, about half the usual size. I canโ€™t wait for the rest of the corn to be ready.

They are really tiny and cute, but it still looks like it is also trying its best to grow beautifully, sad it is so tiny. I hope the other batch grow longer this time.

Yeah, they were so tasty even though they were tiny. ๐ŸŒฝ The weather is so important for plants, but after giving them nutritious soil, all we can do is send prayers for them to grow well.

Why the corn so cute๐Ÿ˜ if this is my harvest I don't like to eat this. It's very beautiful

I know! They were so tiny and pretty that I felt a bit hesitant to eat them. However, they tasted so good! I really appreciate their efforts! ๐ŸŒฝ
