I've been eating more fried foods these past few week -oily foods too. I don't eat much vegetables as well because vegetables here are all expensive. The other day, squash is just 50 pesos per kilo but today, it's 80 pesos now. To save more, I just bought fish that cost 100 pesos, like anchovies or chicken which is 200 pesos per kilo. Even half kilo of anchovies can already last long to me, like 5 meals or more. If its chicken, I will just fry it 1/4 kilo of it and I can already have it in three meals. To be honest, three of us here eat different dishes because what's good for me is bad for the oldies so I have to prepare two dish every day. What's good though was those dish can really last two days -worth of meal.

Anyways, because it's been a while since I last had vegetable dish, I decided to make fish soup. Lucky me and mama because there's a fresh Galunggong in the market that cost 140 pesos only -per kilo. We both grabbed some because it's cheaper. This Galunggong though has a red tail and not the GG we all usually know. We actually prefer the other GG but this is not bad either esp it is cheap. Lol. I am frying the GG while soaking the string beans, okra and tomato in salt water.

After frying, I cook the rice first to get its rice water. On the other side, I cut the onion and tomato and put it in one pan together with the fried fish

And while waiting for the rice to be cooked, I went downstairs to pick Malunggay, fresh from the tree in our backyard, ehe

Rice is done so it's cooking time. I just put the rice water together with the fish, onion, tomato, salt and MSG. I also put the string beans coz this one take a lil to long to cook.

I heat the pan using high heat level. I let it boil for 2 minutes and without stirring it.

And its done! A healthy fish and vegetable dish. What I put there are all green except the tomato and onion haha. Though I fried the fish, I still think its a lil healthier now compare if without veggies. And I made sure to put a lot of Malunggay in there (◍•ᴗ•◍)

I missed this simple dish, I love how light it is, even the seasonings -really just right. By the way, the oldies eat different kind of fish, it's more expensive called Lagidlid, its 340 pesos per kilo, goodness. But well, at least they enjoy it too. ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

Mommy D arrived home early in the morning, from their house in Bulbugan. She went to the market to buy lots of stuffs. She has mungbeans, sweet potato, and the fish and some others. I thought we'll have sauteed Monggo today but I thought wrong. They planned to make Buchi and in the afternoon, Auntie Velyn arrived home and that's when they started making the Buchi. Beautiful!
They will bring those Buchi Buchi in Langgang tomorrow for the visitors in the wake of their sister, so sad we can't even take a peep to Auntie Ella's face for the last time. Mommy F will surely cry if ever we decide to visit. And the thing we want is for her cry and have her blood pressure surge up again. anyways, Mommy D will stay there again tomorrow so meaning it'll be just me and Mommy F tomorrow at home ƪ(‾.‾“)┐
