RE: A Day for Healthy Dish and Veggies: Fish and Vegetable Soup ft. Auntie Velyn's Buchi

what a great technique using rice water for the broth because that gives the fish soup a unique texture and flavor. as someone who works with food here in venezuela i really appreciate seeing how you use fresh ingredients from the backyard like malunggay to improve the family's health. thank you for sharing this honest and nutritious recipe.

Oh, by the way, have you already tried using rice water in some dish? Thank you, the good thing about having a mini garden at home is that, you can use fresh ingredients and its free 🌟💃

That’s amazing! My wife actually used that technique recently for a soup that wouldn't thicken up, and it worked perfectly to give it that 'body' we wanted. It’s a natural and smart trick. Here in Venezuela, we sometimes use a bit of blended corn or potato for the same effect, but rice water is such a clean and cheap alternative.
