I was walking back and forth inside the market, specifically in vegetable section to find veggies that I could prepare for lunch. Mama on the other hand was waiting for her Tilapia in the wet market coz she asked the seller to clean and cut it for her. She stayed there for like 4 Minutes I think then waited for me on the other side after. She found someone she can talk in there, or more like kachismisan lolol. And me? Still walking around, still undecided whether to get potato, carrot, squash or maybe bitter gourd. I am craving more for a potato but, I also want to try different kind of dish. This ingredients i'm buying was for me actually, the oldies will have chicken for lunch. As for me I want something else but its so hard to decide what to make..

This is my everyday dilemma to be honest. I'm sure i'm not the only one, lol. I'm looking in every stalls to find something but even I can't tell what's that something that I want (╥﹏╥), so annoying. Mama I think couldn't wait any longer that's why she decided to get up to where she's sitting and move to where I am then asked me "Ay ano na? Kanina kapa kalalakad wala ka pa ring nabibili!" Like yeah, she's scolding me. But it's really hard to decide you know, huhu. So I made another round in the vegetables section and in the end, I just grabbed two pieces of tomatoes, two small potato, and 3 large egg. I'm planning to make Tortang Patatas with tomato.
And so we walk back home and when we arrived at home, I feel like Tortang Patatas is kinda boring. So I tried to search on google a recipe, I just type this: potato, tomato and egg recipe. Luckily there is a recipe for that. I didn't made a deep research about it I just followed what's on the video and started preparing the Ingredients.

So these are the main Ingredients; tomato, potato, and egg -we'll also need garlic, onion, pepper, chicken cube, salt, water and cooking oil.

Next step, cleaning and peeling all that needs it. I cut the tomatoes and potatoes in cube, small.

Next us sauteeing the onion and garlic. I almost forgot, I also mix shredded chicken in it which I got from the oldies viand that I cooked before this. Just a small pieces as you can see it.

Now, we'll add the potato next and we'll soften it a bit before adding the tomato. Seriously, why this potatoes took a lot of time to soften. I mean, the size is already this small no. Aigoooo

Moving on, we'll season it now with salt, ground pepper, and chicken cubes. That's the only seasonings I know, we don't use any other spices like what others do. I don't know why the oldies didn't like those. Mommy D I think found them too much for her taste buds.

So, next is, we'll add a bit of water in it. Then after two minutes we'll mix the tomatoes next. Cover it and let it cook. I'm kinda regretting that I didn't cut the tomatoes thinly, i'm so naiinip coz the cooking time took so long -even though it's only 5 minute long. Lolol. Its annoying you know -waiting I mean. But i'd rather wait for this than wait for someone who isn't mine (〒﹏〒), ughhhh, ewww. Lololol

But seriously, the potato took 23 minutes before to potato soften. Thanks to that the tomatoes already leaves it soul and just all a skin ,lol.

But anyways, we're ready now for the last step. Adding the egg into it. We'll not scramble it, we'll put them whole ╰( ・ ᗜ ・ )➝

After putting all the eggs, adjust the fire into low heat, cover it and wait for another four minutes. And we're done! Yum, yum! Would you eat this?

I am not sure where this dish originally paired, but its also the best to eat with rice. But as you can see, I didn't put much rice in it. Just the potato is already fulfilling, same with the egg, I think you just eat it as is without pairing it with anything. Ahh, maybe a drink will be good too?
