If there’s one thing I never get tired or bored of, it’s noodles! So tonight, I treated myself to a bowl of freshly cooked handmade noodles.
This stall has become one of my go-to noodle spots because of its unique recipe. It’s unlike any other hawker noodles I’ve had before. You can really feel the passion behind the dish—this place isn’t just serving food for money; they’re sharing an authentic noodle experience. Honestly, I think the price is undervalued considering the quality of the food.
The flavor is subtle yet satisfying, and the portion is perfectly balanced with its toppings and sauce.
As for the stall itself, it’s clearly run by just one person, which probably explains the limited menu. I actually think that’s a smart choice—a smaller menu allows for better quality control. There’s a clear mastery of flavor and preparation here. If the menu were double or even triple its current size, it would be much harder to prepare fresh ingredients right before opening.
I picked the version with peas. It’s my first time having this, and I kind of regret only discovering this stall recently. I’d honestly consider this one of my best food finds this year—LOL. I never imagined peas could add such great flavor and texture. They made the sauce extra thick and tasty too!
If you’re a noodle lover like me, this stall is definitely worth checking out. Sometimes the best food discoveries are hidden in plain sight. I’ll be coming back for more—no doubt about it!
