My First Week With Ryze Mushroom Coffee- The Dude's Review

in LeoFinance2 days ago

This week I started on a new mission. I want to lose about 50 pounds and keep it off. I am sick and tired of being fat and tired. I don't really get sick, but I can get fatigued really quick. So, it's time to get off my fat arse and get it in gear! Part of the dietary change part of my journey has been to kick the jet fuel I normally drink WAY too much of in the morning, to something a bit more earthy and healthy.

I have been hearing about these different mushroom coffees for years and completely understand the idea behind them as I do know a few things about mushrooms (I used to grow all different kinds, and will be again soon). I saw they had a deal online, so I figured, why not? So I ordered a starter box that had 2- 30 day supplies, which I am finding will only last me a month, lol, as well as some mushroom chocolates that I can use for an afternoon boost, and the wooden scoop and spoon.

The Contents

Ryze has 6 different adaptogenic mushrooms that support different systems in your body, as well as it has coconut oil for MCTs and it does have some instant arabica coffee in it. Some of the others like MUDWTR have a chai tea instead of coffee if that is your thing. But coming from at least 2 14oz cups of Cafe Bustelo per day which has a about 100 mg of caffeine in just an 8oz cup, I needed the coffee to curb the withdrawals, lol.

Grok helped me build my diet and exercise plan, and actually recommended that I take 2 servings of this per day based on the amount of mushrooms and caffeine in each serving, also based on my body weight. So for me, 2 scoops in just 1 14oz cup in the mornings have been doing the trick!

The Process

The process is pretty simple, it even says it on the package above. All you do is put a scoop of stuff in a glass or mug and fill it with hot or cold water, stir, and add creamer, milk, or whatever. I have never tried it cold other than to just get the last bit of mush at the bottom of the glass, and will say it's okay. I have really only done it hot. I use the single cup function on my coffee maker to just spit out the hot water.

Once finished, I just add a bit on honey to sweeten, and a bit of creamer, not much, but some does help. The taste can be a bit on the earthy side, but it's pretty good. The creamer just smooths it down a bit. You could even add more virgin coconut oil in replacement of creamer, which is what I need to try when I can remember to get some at the store. Really, it's just about finding your own taste.

Then you stir! Keep stirring till it's frothy and all of the powder is mixed up with the water and you are good to go! I used the little wooden spoon they gave me, but of course you can stir it with whatever you want, lol. I want one of those electric stir things that would really froth it up, so I may get one down the line if I keep going with this stuff.

Sit Back and Enjoy the Energy

Next all you have to do is to sit back and enjoy the brew, with your bed head and all, lol!

The Dude's Overall Review

So what I can say on a caffeine level is that the 2 scoops seemed to be the perfect fit for me, but I suggest just starting with one scoop in an 8oz mug as described on the bag to start and find your happy medium from there. What I can say though is that I have been really enjoying the energy this stuff has been giving me. I am not jittery and jolty like I am on my regular coffee. I feel energetic instead of caffeinated, and there is a HUGE difference.

My energy has been longer lasting through the day as well. I haven't been pining for that afternoon cup of joe at all. On days that I have really done a bunch of activity, then I may hit either one of those chocolates they sent with the pack, or make a cup of green tea instead of going for come afternoon jet fuel, lol.

I have been getting more done, have been more focused, and not near as on edge as I have been lately. I also haven't been smoking near as much weed during the day to curb the jitters from the coffee, so that has led to getting more done.

Another thing that I can say I have noticed is the lack of bloat. That is one thing I have heard alot from other users of this stuff is they lose a lot of their bloating. After just a few day, I noticed things being very regular if you know what I mean, 💩 , which is always a good thing, because you have to let that shit go, lol. So something is working!

I have been kicking ass on my trading bot, got the Hive Keychain Login plugin for Wordpress released this week on the Hivelist Store, got all my raised beds in the garden filled and ready for seeds, and I have been spending time working out by either taking hikes, using my row machine, or picking up my dumb bells and getting my pump on! Some of the strength training came from doing some actual real farm work, so that counts as a workout, lol.

So if you have ever been on the fence about trying out some mushroom coffee, I HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot! It may or may not be for you, but it's at least worth the shot! I am going to continue for a couple of more weeks and decide if I want to do the monthly subscription or not and make this an investment in my health, since I don't pay for medical insurance, lol.

Until next time...

Be cool, be real, and always abide with you my dudes!

Stay cool and keep abiding, my dude! 🤙

Thanks for the kind words and motivation! Oh and just thanks for reading, lol.

I've tried it but it and wasn't repulsed but decided that it wasn't for me, I'll stick to coffee.

As for the weight loss, well done for taking matters into your own hands and wanting to make some positive changes. Maybe do some research on sugar abd carbohydrate intake; reducing both by 50% will usually see weight fall off. Add in a 40 minute walk and some maybe a few body weight exercises and you'll be good to go.

Thanks! Yeah, I have a whole new diet and exercise plan, which is just more of a lifestyle change. I also have my farm to work and hike as well as a row machine. So I am set!

Wow, I would love for you to be able to achieve and enjoy a good Cafe.
