It's our nature to feed our hunger by eating foods, but eating is more than just quenching our needs. We're not just feeding our hunger but we are also feeding our happiness with the taste of the different flavors of the foods we eat. Everybody loves food. Whether if we are tired, stressed and sad and even when we are happy, we often crave for food. A lot of people crave for delicious food and when their cravings are satisfied, their mood gets better, so giving a good food for our loved ones is a common gift yet one of the best things we offer to bring them happiness.
I am not much of a foodie person, like food isn’t a big passion or hobby for me but, I do love satisfying my cravings. I simply enjoy good meals, so sharing food photographies has become one of my ways to spark appetite for other people. So I am compiling these collections of my food photographies.
The Fresh Fruits from the Countryside Where We Live
This is what rural people like us are content with. We get a closer connection to nature which is why we don't need to look for nature escapes because we're already living in one and we get easy access to different fruits and vegetables that were planted by our family on the farm and in our backyard, thanks to these productive fruit-bearing trees we are able to taste their flavors.

The Comfort of Homemade Foods - A meal made with efforts
Homemade foods also excel in people's tummies. Cooking homemade encourages your creativity on experimenting with taste and flavors or inventing your own recipe. One of the most significant benefits of homemade food is you can ensure you can maintain healthier nutrition intake. When cooking at home, you are in control over ingredients and preparation methods. Homemade food reflects not only what we eat, but how we live and how we value the people we share our meals with.

The Timeless Goodness of Noodles
In our country, noodles hold a special place in both daily meals and gathering occasions. Our type of noodles is locally known as pancit and they are a symbol of long life for Filipinos. Some other region has its own distinct version that showcases the local flavors and where it was originated. Some here in my blog is the pancit canton and lomi. These dishes are often shared during gatherings, reflecting the Filipino value of gatherings and celebration through food.

Comfort Snacks and Cravings
Sweet snacks are essential in moments of stress. There are times when we suddenly crave for particular flavors and we can't get over until we buy for ourselves to snack on. A bite of our favorite biscuits can instantly lift our mood. A cup of coffee or tea, complemented with snacks, they didn't fail to give us comfort.

Sharing Foods
Lastly, the foods shared with groups. This one is about trying foods we haven't tried before, with friends and boodlefights on a family gatherings.
Boodle-fight is common to Filipinos in the countryside, where food is spread over banana leaves on a long table, and everyone eats together using their hands (kamayan style). The common foods served in boodle-fights are grilled vegetables, grilled meat like fish, pork or chicken, most important is rice. There are also sliced tomatoes that complements with the grilled foods.

Those are some of my food photographies collection. Thank you for stopping by! I hope this post inspires you to enjoy and discover more good foods.
Until next time, happy eating!
