I'm @riyat, today I will share another photo and exciting story when I ate kocok geurugok noodles with friends at a cafe in the city of Bireuen, Aceh province. This is a picture I took a few days before and just posted it today.
Me and 4 of my friends have planned this event, we planned to meet after being separated for a long time by our respective jobs, these are my high school alumni friends, after 2 years of not seeing each other, we finally met again at this ocean cafe.
Maybe they were afraid of cameras or something, I don't know, when I wanted to take a photo of them, they immediately forbade it, so without their permission I didn't take a photo of them. So I just took some pictures of food and drinks and some pictures of the yard around this ocean cafe.
First of all I will share some pictures of food and cold tea drinks.
my three friends didn't order food, they only ordered drinks. they said they had eaten when they were at home. So they just order drinks.
As for the taste of the Kocok geurugok noodles themselves, it is dominantly sweet, I like sweet food a little, the sauce seems to have a little coconut milk in it, I don't really understand how to make the noodles. Basically it's different from the way Acehnese noodles are made in general.
and to taste the drinks, the five of us ordered various tea drinks. I myself ordered green tea and some of my friends ordered regular tea. I ordered green tea because I think green tea has a very sharp aroma of tea leaves and a very delicious taste.
After we finished eating and drinking, we chatted together and shared experiences and stories from our respective life journeys.
Not long after that conversation, suddenly my stomach felt nauseous and I wanted to go to the toilet immediately. After I left the toilet, I took several pictures of the view around the Ocean Cafe yard, from the parking lot to the edge of the cafe.
After taking some photos I sat back with my friends and continued our previous chat, it was really a very pleasant day to be able to meet old friends again. maybe they have changed a little from usually being chatty to now being more like a calm person.
