I am here tonight sitting in a rugged bamboo chair. Holding a pen 🖋️ onto intermediate paper. Intentional, hoping words would come out so I could jot down. My journey is not extra but in the sense that I exist, I am living it. It might not go as planned. Maybe sometimes also there is no planning at all. I am grateful though to be alive with the hope in my heart that things in my life would be alright.
Oh, by the way, the rains pour outside. It is something that inspired me tonight to write. Do you have the same vibe? Do you like the sounds of the rains while you contemplating? I do. So here, words become easier to find now I bet it is because of the ràin. Hot summer days are brutal àt daytime and also with the humid air at night. I live with no air-conditioning so I bet I have to endure the days thanks to the electric fan fanning through the nights. The raindrop sounds overpowered the fan motors inside the room. It is needed, it becomes my motivation tonight.
And the rain suddenly stops. So that was it. It pours hard and it disappears.
Back to what's up here, I will share some snippets of my journey, pictures will elaborate it the more that I can tell.
One day, I went to the Fabulosa thrift store . It is my go-to if I am looking for branded pants 👖 and shirts 👕 without spending much. There are wide selections of ready to wears. It is confusing sometimes what to buy. Normally, it takes me a couple of hours to get a pair. I did buy jogging pants and a shirt that day. I enjoyed the scrolling of the hangers looking for the best one for me. They have fitting rooms to try it on, it is a must so you won't end up regretting the purchase afterward.
One morning when I got up early for a walk. The Milo fun run was held. It is something sponsored with a chocolate drink for a fun run. I noticed they were students. They had the uniforms too. It must be so fun running with them with the same sando. The flagship color green was scattered on the streets that morning.
One Sunday morning, with my friends. We had planned and successfully walked to the Mactan Mandaue Bridge. We even played badminton a bit. I hope this becomes the norm for us. We needed to be out, to exercise more. Plus being out to bathe the early sunrise is essential to health.
One day, we went to a fiesta and and enjoyed eating and was grateful for the invitation. On our way back home, there were lots of goodies beside the streets. I mostly love fruit shakes and fresh sliced fruits with chilies salt. The thoughts of it makes me 🤤 drooling.
One day, at the company we had delicious treats from our boss to celebrate the birthday of our colleague. It was the best ube cake I ever had. The celebrants also made a healthy 🥗 salad with it.
I guessed I had lived the best that I can these past days. I hope you are too. See you around.
