Greetings, everyone. It's my pleasure to share with you how I made my watermelon and pineapple smoothie.
For some time, I have discovered a market where I can purchase fruits very affordably, and the distance is not far from my house, so I can go to the market and return in a few minutes.
In the market, they sell a variety of fruits, including bananas, pineapples, oranges, watermelons,es and many more.
Today I visited the market and I bought watermelon and pineapple, let's make a smoothie.

Ingredients

- 2 medium-sized pineapples.
- 1 large watermelon
- 5 pieces of ginger
- 3 teaspoon of salt
You don't need much to prepare this healthy drink for the family.
One important aspect of preparing this smoothie is to have a strong blender, those fruits might look soft but at the end if your blender is not strong you will have some chunks and lumps of ginger and pineapple in your drink.

I started by thoroughly washing my pineapple and watermelon before peeling off the back, I always love to wash my fruits with salt sometimes with soap and rinse them very well because the fruit is not directly from the farm, it has travelled from different countries to another before it got to Nigeria, and they have been exposed to infections and diseases.
Then peeled the back of the pineapple and cut it into little cubes for easy blending.



Then I washed the ginger and also cut it into pieces and added it to the pineapple as I blended.

After blending the pineapple I poured it out into a big bowl.
Same process I washed and peeled the watermelon, I didn't remove the seeds because research has shown that watermelon seeds are healthy so I blended the seeds together with the fruit.



After blending I mixed everything together and bottled them then put them in the fridge.

I love this smoothie so much that I prepare it every Monday and take it daily till the week runs out, it's healthy because both watermelon and pineapple consist of too many fibre, vitamins and nutrients that the body needs.
