That pumpkin soup reminds me of a chili that my wife makes using white beans and ground chicken. It all looks very delicious. I love scalloped potatoes, so it is too bad that these weren't up to par!

Oh wow, Beans and Chicken soup Chili does sound like a perfect winter meal! This was my first non-takeaway scalloped potato... I do like the takeaway ones that you get at fish and chip places... but these days, they are too oily for my tummy!
I can understand that! Fried food doesn't generally agree with me like it used to now that I am older.
